Wasn't Matt Mays here last year and Sam Roberts 2 years ago?
I've been hearing the clues between 7:45 and 8:00 am.

Did catch his last song though, Cocaine Cowgirl. Mayes is a great show. Sam Roberts was also here a couple years ago......but was caught in the middle of one of those Rain storms. He was on/off...then on then off.......He still rocked the stage.

I enjoyed Sam Roberts and wouldn't mind seeing him back, he would be even more enjoyable if it wasn't teaming rain.
Another clue this morning said this band is Juno award winner.

The clues from the radio could point towards the Barenaked Ladies.

I hope so. I like Bnl but not enough for it to be the finale act for the festival of lights

wow what a lineup of sucktitude if it's true
sounds like a gala you could see play downstairs at Myrons on a friday night
may as well add Great Big Sea, the 28th Haywire reunion and a Celine Dion impersonator to the bill and watch the ticket sales fly
seriously what the fuck is wrong with this place? they announce a Bryan Adams concert like it';s a huge deal a couple months ago.. maybe 20 years ago it would be.. now they leak a lineup full of acts that were here before.. some as recently as the ECMA's... and some more old washed up Canadian crap and then to top it all off the BIG ANNOUNCEMENT turns out to be the most washed up crap Canadian band of all time.. what a joke

Like there stuff, even If I did see them before. They still need to add some more bands, and im hoping that they will add a BIG act or two......it is a 3 day event right? but yeah, so far its way back on 3DD or Live or Nickelback

why even bother with the whole gay ass "guess which band is headlining" morning hints if they are going to announce some real big talent afterwards?
i hope you're right but so far i'm saying to Howie Mandel of the Capital Commission ... NO FUCKING DEAL!!

I agree...
Barenaked ladies will be a fucking joke if this is true...
I have bought passes for the last three years but if this is the big surprise headliners then no fucking way...Barenaked Ladies suck to begin with and they haven't had an album or song out for years..No one cares about the BNL..especially paying $50 to see them in concert....
I thought the Festival was suppose to get bigger and better every year...They better have another big name to announce..Ticket sales will be extremely poor with BNL as headliners...what a joke....

Heard a rumor that the band was "Black Eyed Peas".
They won a Juno this season, International Album of the Year" for "Monkey Business".
Pretty sure they have won a Grammy or two.
Unsure how many albums they have, but I know it's a lot.
Just what I heard.
EDIT****
Never mind.......looks as they are in Europe that time.

I'm pretty sure the Black Eyed Peas only have like 4 or 5 albums anyway. We're looking for 9 albums according to the clues (and yes, the Barenaked Ladies have 9 studio albums...)
