Pierre-Luc Lessard, D Last Team: Prince Edward Island, QMJHL
The fourth-round pick, 121st overall of the Senators in 2006 was a top defender for the Prince Edward Island Rocket in the QMJHL during 2006-07. After spending two seasons with the Gatineau Olympiques, Lessard was traded to PEI where he continued to develop into a reliable two-way defenseman at the junior level. The native of Thetford Mines, Quebec has one year of junior eligibility left. He has not been offered an entry-level contract and will likely return to PEI for a final year.
Camp Review: Lessard had a disappointing camp. He seemed disinterested and lethargic at times and was beaten consistently in one-on-one drills. Lessard was relatively unnoticeable in 3-on-3 tournament play and except when he was the recipient of a thunderous bodycheck. Lessard possesses skill and still has potential, but his showing at camp did not leave a good impression.

These camps are for prospects are to show what they can do in hopes of impressing the team enough to eventually be offered a contract. I like Lessard and has been a good player for us but if he can't get himself motivated for something like that, I just hope he doesn't bring that disinterest and lethargic play to the Rocket camp in the fall.

Apparently, Lessard hurt his foot just before the development camp started, and wasn't even sure if he was going to be able to go.

If his foot was hurt that bad, surprising that they had him on the ice for full contact scrimmages

of note, walker signed a amatuer tryout card with the leafs. If so, would he not be at the team’s prospect camp? Leafs announced Friday that the team’s prospect camp will be held from July 9th to July 14th. The group consists of one goaltender, four defencemen, and 14 forwards, and Walker is nit listed as one of them. www.mapleleafs.com/news/news.asp?story_id=2634

Also, Morrison was at the Ducks prospect camp.........which just ended.
Can't find much info on it, which is not a total shock.
