The playoff motto is Jump on the Bandwagon because so far during the playoffs they are only averaging 2300 fans a game...The place holds almost 12000 people...I went to a game last week against Chicago and the place was so empty...Great hockey and the Dawgs are playing awesome, but this place is Ti-cat land....For someone that hates the CFL, I'm living in the wrong city....

On a team with no superstars, it's only fitting that the Hamilton Bulldogs' championship-winning goal came from one of their checking fowards.
Ajay Baines scored a short-handed goal at 9:33 of the third period, giving the Bulldogs their first American Hockey League title Thursday with a 2-1 win over the Hershey Bears.
Hamilton's Maxim Lapierre, who opened the scoring in the second period, burst down the right wing and sent a perfect feed across to Baines, who buried the puck behind Frederic Cassivi.
"I don't score too many goals so that's a pretty special one," said Baines.
It's the franchise's first Calder Cup in its 11-year history. Hamilton, the affiliate of the NHL's Montreal Canadiens, won the decisive Game 5 of the best-of-seven AHL final in front of a crowd of 14,205 at Copps Coliseum.
"Just a lot of guts," Baines said, when asked how the Bulldogs won the Calder Cup. "Guys just really knew their roles. We had no superstars."
Hamilton lost to Bears in the 1997 final and again to the Houston Aeros in a dramatic seven-game series in 2003.
Head coach Don Lever said his hungry team was easy to coach.
"It's character," said Lever. "These kids, they just never quit. To go on the road and win every first game on the road and come in with the pressure when you had to win at home.
"It's not easy winning that fourth one, especially against the best team in the league."
Jakub Klepis had the lone goal for Hershey, which produced a much better effort than in Games 3 and 4 but still had trouble beating goalie Carey Price.

Who is your role model/idol and why? I don’t really have an idol. I admired any player who worked hard to reach their goals. Why No. 40?It’s pretty simple, that’s what they gave me. What question do you get asked the most?I often get asked how I felt the first time I stepped foot in the Canadiens dressing room. What's the first concert you went to?Celine Dion at the Bell Centre about 10 years ago. What artist would you really like to see live Coldplay. Favorite team to play against and why? Toronto. The atmosphere is always a little crazy, whether it’s here or in Toronto. What’s the best gift you’ve ever received? My first pair of hockey gloves when I was eight years old. What's your biggest pet peeve? People who take too long. I’m not the most patient person. It bugs me when people go to McDonald’s and take an hour to place their order. What’s your guilty pleasure? Chocolate. Do you have a pre-game ritual? Yeah, and it’s pretty elaborate. First, I nap from 1:30 to 3:30. I have to have regular pasta, with nothing on it, and a Coke. Then I have to pass the puck with a teammate before the game. This year, I did that with Guillaume Latendresse. I’ve had that ritual since I was in Midget AAA. What was the first CD/album you bought? Big Shiny Tunes. I have no idea which number. Who was your first celebrity crush? Pamela Anderson. Do you have a favorite website? I’d have to say the Tête à claques site. It’s one of the reasons I bought a laptop. The Halloween sketch is my favorite.
