1. I have been wondering about the symbols on the left hand side of the page tha lists the threads. There is a folder that sometimes appears to be flickering like it is on fire and I was wondering what it means. Is it as simple as this is a hot topic, if so how or who decides it is a hot topic?
2. What is an invisible user? I've noticed different times when logging on that there will be # of members # of guests and # of invisible users on line.

1) The things on the side like the thumbs up and thumbs down and things like that you can put on yourself when your making a new thread. As for the hot one I would say that comes on when there is a certain # of posts or people who have read it.
2) Invisable users are people who are on the board but dont want other people to know that they are there.

Anyone can be "invisable"....it's an option you have in your profile. As Chick said, the "hot topic" is: 15 post to be a "hot thread". 25 posts to be a "very hot thread"
