Speaking of Vegas, I read somewhere that Jerry Bruckheimer, the TV and movie producer, was talking of putting an expansion team in Vegas. It likely wouldn't happen for a long time since the league has no plans for expansion, but if he is interested in putting a team in Vegas who knows he could buy a team and move it there, he certainly has the deep pockets to do it.

Lot of chickens being counted in Hamilton these days... I think there is too. Hamilton has been looking to put an NHL team in the Copps Coliseum since it was built back in the mid to late 80's and the league has had opportunities to put a team in there in form of the 90's expansions, but a team never materialized for whatever reason. I think that Balsillie is doing the season ticket deposit thing in Hamilton so that he can go to the NHL board of governers and say that there are only a small amount of season tickets sold in Nashville meanwhile he has just sold alot more tickets in Hamilton as a reason why to move the Predators out of Nashville. And that's only if he is approved to buy the Predators in the first place. There is still a few hurdles to go over before/if Hamilton is to get the Predators
