Should be a good game and hopefuly Lewiston will be able to get the win. Not sure what the status of Cliche is though, not much is being said about his injury and if/how much time he will miss.

at first they thought he broke either his arm or wrist, but then I heard he might play today, maybe a pinched nerve or something, I sure hope he's ok Here's something I dug up on the injury.
Lewiston Maineiacs captain Marc-Andre Cliche injured at Memorial Cup Canadian Press May 19, 2007, 9:42 PM EDT VANCOUVER (CP) - Lewiston Maineiacs captain Marc-Andre Cliche is questionable for Sunday's Memorial Cup game against the Vancouver Giants after the centre was injured during Saturday's 3-1 win over the Medicine Hat Tigers.
Cliche, a New York Rangers draft pick and a member of the Canadian team that won gold at the world junior hockey championship in January, suffered what looked like a shoulder injury early in the second period on a seemingly innocuous check into the boards by Medicine Hat's Trevor Glass.
Cliche (pronounced cleesh) did not return to the game and was sent to hospital for X-rays.
"It was the angle (of the hit)," Lewiston head coach Clement Jodoin said. "It's a shoulder point and I don't know what's going to happen.
"We're waiting for a verdict and we'll see tomorrow."
Lewiston and host Vancouver are both 1-0 at the Memorial Cup.
Maineiacs forward Stefan Chaput was confident his captain would be ready to play Sunday.
"He's fine. He's going to be there tomorrow and he's going to be great," Chaput declared.
Cliche, 20, had six goals and 16 assists in 16 playoff games during the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League playoffs. The six-foot-one, 190-pound forward had 24 goals and 30 assists in 52 regular-season games.

Lewy had a great chance to go to 2-0 in this tourney.........but mistakes by two players led to their defeat IMO.
Slack play by a Lewy player (can't remember who now), who didn't clear a puck lead to Kenndal McArdle's goal, and if Denny took Rabbit out instead of the lack luster "push" effort he did, the winning goal would not have happened either IMO.
Bernier played great once again, and hopefully the MAINEiacs win the next one.

I think the player was Giliati. Beside those 2 plays I thought that Lewiston played too defensively after they scored the first goal. They didn't create enough offensive chances for themselves during the game, especially against a good team like the Giants. Lewiston opened it up a bit after Vancouver went ahead and came close a couple of times. If they had done that more during the game, the outcome might have been different.
It's the first time I saw the Giants play and they are a very good team, Don Hay has that team clicking very well.
