The new Darkness CD is rockin' guys. You should all pick it up, although I know most won't. Ill be honest, I havent heard much from them other than whats been released for radio/tv... but I certainly dont understand the popularity of them beyond the "novelty" of hearing a current song sung like its an 80's power rock tune. I thought the first hit was sort of catchy and funny because it was a throw back to the old style... but I cant imagine continuing to listen to that pop-rock hair band music again (which from what i can tell is all their music). I left the 80's, in the 80's for a good reason...

That one is like a cult CLASSIC among my friends and I!!!! I know if off by heart, when I'm on the island over the holidays I'll even perform it live if I'm requested to. ;D And a buddy and I did it at karaoke one night, and we brought the house down. It's just awesome hahahahaha, didn't think anyone else knew that one.

Have been listening to an east coast musician. Mat Andersen, was told about him by a friend of mine. He is indeed an interesting listen. Live performances he goes wild apparently and its only him on stage for the most part. He will be performing in the showcases at the ECMA's. Think I might take his show in.
